UI for Visual Novel Game

Some different iterations of my visual novel game's visuals.
Still have a fondness for version 2 and the paper/ sketchy style I went with but am unsure about the mostly black and white color scheme.

I found Figma not long ago and decided to create some layout and prototype visuals.
My first versions in Figma came out way to overwhelming with all the different colors and elements. For my second attempt I instead focused on the layout and values in grey-scale.
